Posting again for those who were asking for an update!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is undergoing a major overhaul, not just inside the park but out! The parking lot is being expanded and the new gondola station is being added. Whether you walk to the gates or use the tram, there’s still a pretty big detour currently to get there. I took video of that below! In addition, I took photos of the construction wherever I could find it. There really was a lot, let’s look!
