Marvel Studios Confirms Comic-Con Hall H Return for 2026

July 10, 2026

Marvel Studios Confirms Comic con Hall H Return for 2026Marvel Studios is heading back to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, ending a two-year absence from the convention’s biggest stage and reigniting hopes that the long-awaited Avengers: Doomsday trailer will finally arrive.

Marvel Studios Confirms Comic con Hall H Return for 2026

The studio’s last real Hall H moment came with a full screening of Deadpool & Wolverine and the surprise reveal that Robert Downey Jr. was returning to the MCU as Doctor Doom. Marvel skipped Hall H entirely last year, even with The Fantastic Four: First Steps fresh in theaters, so a 2026 return has been rumored for months and is now confirmed.

What Marvel Has Planned for SDCC 2026

Marvel laid out its full Comic-Con schedule on its official site, and Hall H is just one piece of it. The lineup also includes panels for the new Midnight Universe, the acclaimed X-Men ’97 series, and the upcoming Wolverine video game. Marvel Studios will once again take the 5:30 p.m. PT slot in Hall H, with the studio keeping details close to the vest. The only official teaser reads: “Join Marvel Studios, alongside special guests from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for an exclusive look at what’s next.”

Will the Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Show Up?

That vague teaser is doing a lot of work for fan speculation. Avengers: Doomsday footage has already screened at select events over the past several months, but a full public trailer still hasn’t dropped, and Hall H looks like the obvious venue for that to change. The timing lines up well: Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters July 31, just days after the panel, giving Marvel a natural place to attach a new Doomsday trailer for wide theatrical release.

Marvel doesn’t always let Hall H footage escape the room, though. The studio has a track record of debuting trailers and behind-the-scenes reveals exclusively for the in-person crowd before releasing them publicly, sometimes days later. The first teaser for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever played this way back in 2022. So there’s a real chance the Avengers: Doomsday trailer premieres in Hall H on the panel date but doesn’t hit the internet right away, or that some material is shared online immediately while other reveals stay con-exclusive.

Either way, Marvel’s return to Hall H after a two-year gap all but guarantees the panel will be one of the most closely watched moments of Comic-Con 2026.
