Universal Orlando Resort’s new nighttime spectacular is officially lighting up the sky tonight. Universal Celestial Goodnight makes its debut at Universal Epic Universe this evening, giving guests a stunning way to close out a day of thrills in the park’s newest land.
Running nightly at park close, the show transforms Celestial Park into a full sensory experience, combining nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, more than 350 larger-than-life fountains, and seven million LED lights, all set to a high-energy original score. The spectacular draws inspiration from across Epic Universe, weaving in the playful energy of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, the soaring adventure of How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, the magic of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and the eerie legends of Dark Universe. It all builds to a fireworks finale designed to send guests home on a high note.
But Universal isn’t stopping there. This fall, the resort is adding an entirely new after-hours experience to Epic Universe called Universal Nights. The limited-capacity event will take place on two dates, Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17, giving guests a rare chance to explore the park after dark with reduced crowds. The ticketed event includes access to attractions, entertainment, and character interactions, along with complimentary specialty snacks and beverages.
Universal Nights runs from 9:00 p.m. to midnight, but ticket holders can arrive as early as 7:00 p.m. to enjoy the park, including a viewing of Universal Celestial Goodnight, before the after-hours festivities officially kick off.
Tickets for Universal Nights go on sale August 13, starting at $179.99 plus tax per person. More details, including additional dates and offerings, are expected in the coming weeks.
