Today, we are getting some spooktacular news about Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort! If you’ve never done Halloween at Disneyland, you’re truly missing out, it’s fantastic. One of the best parts of the festivities is definitely the Oogie Boogie Bash. We did this party for the first time a few years ago and loved it. We have some news to share today about this years Oogie Boogie Bash, including something Haunted Mansion related! Let’s break it down!
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, returning select nights from August 18 through October 31.
This after-hours party is for all ages and of course costumes are welcomed! Also, you can trick-or-treat and enjoy access to certain attractions, often with shorter wait times. The event goes from 6 p.m. through 11 p.m. and admission includes entry to California Adventure three hours before the party officially begins, plus unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the party. It’s a great time!
“Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” is bringing some of the most iconic Haunted Mansion moments right into the streets of Disney California Adventure. Madame Leota will lead the fun with a spirited séance and swinging wake packed with happy haunts, dancing, and plenty of ghoulish delight all inviting guests to join the ultimate ghostly celebration. Just remember, there are 999 ghosts, but room for 1000!
How about some desserts? Guests can upgrade their night with the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, offering a special viewing area for the street party along with a brand new lineup of treats inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Keep an eye out for rare Disney villains and favorite characters all dressed up for Halloween throughout California Adventure. Over at Villains Grove, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail transforms into a hauntingly beautiful world inspired by Disney villains, featuring eerie moments themed to characters like the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier. And if you’re lucky… or unlucky… you may catch Ichabod Crane racing through the park while trying to escape the terrifying Headless Horseman and his shadowy steed.
This year, there are 33 nights in August, September, and October to attend Oogie Boogie Bash. Tickets will go on sale beginning June 18, 2026, no earlier than 9 a.m. PST, with pre-sale opportunities for select groups. Head to Disneyland.com for more details!
