When Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets opens on May 26, guests will be invited inside the legendary G-Force Records for a backstage tour unlike anything Disney has created before. Packed with music, cutting-edge technology, and the unmistakable humor of The Muppets, this reimagined attraction promises to deliver a high-speed adventure full of laughs and rock-and-roll energy.
Welcome to G-Force Records
As guests enter G-Force Records, they will step directly into the recording studio where The Electric Mayhem is hard at work rehearsing their iconic song “Can You Picture That?” ahead of their big concert.
The pre-show places guests in the center of the action, offering a VIP tour through the legendary music studio and setting the stage for the story that unfolds throughout the attraction.
Meet Scooter Like Never Before
One of the biggest highlights of the new pre-show is the debut of the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter.
Using advanced motion-capture technology, Walt Disney Imagineering recorded the actual Muppet’s movements and expressions to create a figure that captures every detail of Scooter’s personality, from his gestures to his facial expressions.
Joined by a team of penguin audio engineers, Scooter attempts to convince The Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and hurry to their increasingly impatient fans.
Muppet Labs Saves the Day
When it becomes clear that the band needs a faster way to reach the concert venue, guests are introduced to a brand-new invention from Muppet Labs.
Waiting just outside Studio C is the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object, better known as the L.I.M.O., a super-powered vehicle designed to get everyone across town at top speed.
Once aboard, guests will launch into the high-energy adventure that combines rock music, humor, and thrilling twists as only the Muppets can deliver.
