Kathryn Hahn to Play Mother Gothel in Disney’s Live Action Tangled! I’m excited for this one! Disney announced recently that a live action version of “Tangled” is in the works. Well today, Kathryn Hahn let out a huge hint that she may be playing the villain, Mother Gothel. Disney afterwards confirmed that she is! Fans have been rallying for her to get this part, but there was no news until just a bit ago. She put out a teaser video and changed her Instagram handle to “motherhahn” as well.
