Live Action Tangled Rapunzel & Flynn Actors Announced! There has been speculation for quite some time about when or if a live action version of the Disney movie Tangled will be done. Months back, Disney said they were shelving the project after the live action Snow White didn’t do well at theaters. Made total sense. Well now, the live action version of Tangled is a go as the two main characters have been announced. Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim are Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the live-action reimagining of Disney’s Tangled. Coming only to theaters.
Walt Disney pictures made the announcement just a short time ago and the news is already getting a lot of traction. With this movie being my absolute favorite, I’m on the fence on how I feel about it, but of course will give it a go. My kids are grown so I needed a refresher on who Milo and Teagan are. Yes, Zombies, got it for him! But I do think Disney did right by not casting more known actors, no preconceived notions going in ahead of time. Disney live action films have been hit or miss with fans, some have done really well as others have not. The live action Lilo and Stitch last summer did great at the box office so that could mean a light at the end of the tunnel for other films. There have been no other announcement on who will play other characters in the movie, but you can be sure that I will be watching and will report once I see it.
