DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom Closing this Weekend! The DINOSAUR attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will officially close this weekend on February 1, 2026, continuing phased closures of DinoLand U.S.A. This entire space, formerly DinoLand U.S.A. will be transformed into the all-new Tropical Americas area, set to debut in 2027 with exciting attractions inspired by Encanto and Indiana Jones. Yes, DINOSAUR will soon be an Indiana Jones thrill ride! Exciting! Here are some import dates to know! 

Key Dates:
February 1, 2026: Last chance to experience DINOSAUR and the rest of DinoLand U.S.A.
February 2, 2026: DinoLand U.S.A. permanently closes to guests
2027: Tropical Americas area scheduled to open

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be under construction for some time, however, we can surely be excited on the new updates that are coming! In my opinion, I think this is going to be great for the park as it was much needed. Stay tuned for more updates as we see them!
