The final day for The Boneyard, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be September 1, 2025, which is Labor Day weekend. The area, that is designed to look like a dinosaur dig—where young paleontologist can play, allowed kids 10 and younger to go across rope bridges, climb through mysterious caves and hurl down twisting slides

The area where The Boneyard currently resides will become part of the new Tropical Americas section of the park. The Tropical Americas, announced at D23 in 2024, will be an 11-acre land that will feature a new carousel, and an “Encanto” themed attraction. The ride dinosaur, which is currently still running, plans to close sometime in 2026 and will be themed to an Indiana Jones attraction.
