On October 10, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World Resort, to the University of Central Florida (UCF) Board of Trustees.

As President of Walt Disney World Resort, he oversees all of Disney’s Central Florida operations, including its four theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs.
