Recently, a question sent Plan Disney a year ago has resurfaced.  The question asked is:

Hi will are there any rides at animal kingdom, Hollywood studios, magic kingdom, & Disney Springs at Disney World that would require me to have to remove my crocs?

We had never encountered this question and honestly didn’t know the answer.  With Disney selling crocs in many different shopping locations around Walt Disney World, we thought there were no restrictions.  Jessica a Plan Disney Panelist replied with:

I’m pleased to tell you that there are no attractions at any of the Theme Parks that are going to require you to take off your Crocs. It’s perfectly safe to leave them on for the duration of any ride or show. There is one thing to be aware of, though: Crocs are not allowed to be worn on any escalators. So, inside The Land Pavilion at EPCOT, on the way to the parking garages at Disney Springs, or anywhere else with an escalator, you will either need to take the stairs or an elevator or plan to wear different shoes. Beyond that, you’re good to go, so feel free to wear your favorite comfy footwear!

Has you ever encountered any type of issues with wearing crocs at Walt Disney World? Tell us about it in the comments.
