Thor: Love and Thunder’s Hindi dub voice actor Gaurav Chopra confirms that he’s finished working on the trailer, suggesting it may debut very soon.
Thor: Love and Thunder‘s trailer may debut in the very near future according to one of the film’s voice actors.
According to a recent Instagram post, Gaurav Chopra, who voices Thor in the Hindi dub version of Love and Thunder, has just finished working on the movie’s trailer. While the performer did not provide a solid release date for the promotional video, the fact that he’s wrapped his part has fans speculating that it may finally drop in the near future. The image Chopra shared features the film’s logo on a monitor in what is presumably a recording booth.
Despite Love and Thunder‘s looming launch in July, the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster has yet to release a single trailer. The prolonged wait for the first glance at Taika Waititi’s latest chapter in Thor’s saga recently broke an unpopular Marvel Studios record, being the shortest window between the debut of a first trailer and the release of a film in the MCU’s history. The record was previously held by The Incredible Hulk which only had 92 days between the initial trailer and the final theatrical release.
While many fans are questioning when Love and Thunder‘s trailer will finally arrive, some believe the film’s cast has been quietly hinting at a release date. A recent promotional image from the film’s marketing campaign highlighted Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson holding up different numbers of fingers. Many took this to mean that the film’s trailer would debut on April 11. At the time of writing, no such trailer has been released.
Speaking about the prolonged wait for the next trailer, Waititi joked that the film has yet to be completed. “It’s still not finished,” said Waititi. “It comes out in July, so probably the end of June [laughs]. Probably like a day before the premiere [laughs]. That’s how we do it.” This comes after numerous reports that the film has undergone several rounds of reshoots.
While little is known about Thor: Love and Thunder‘s plot, merchandise for the movie confirmed that Jane Poster will assume the role of the Mighty Thor after picking up the reforged Mjolnir. Christian Bale is also joining the MCU as Gorr the God Butcher, a powerful being that sets out on a quest to kill every god in the galaxy
Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8.
