It may only be the end of August. However, it’s never too early to start planning for the holidays and Walt Disney World is way ahead of schedule as they’ve already released their park hours for the first week of November!

The pandemic is still running rampant across many parts of the world. Although, Walt Disney World is seeming to be operating at closer to normal capacities this holiday season. Last year, in the rise of COVID, the theme park resort had canceled all of its specialty ticketed events–including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. But this year the events are back–just under different names and at higher admission prices!

The hours for the entire holiday season have not yet been revealed but from the release of the operating hours from the first week of November we can at least get an idea of how the parks will be.

According to the Walt Disney World. website, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the first week of November. Beginning November 8, the park will close an hour earlier at 8 p.m. This is due to the start of Disney Very Merriest After Hours, which will run from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Last year the park was only open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m during this same time. For guests not opting for the nighttime party, it does allow for a few more hours in the park during the day.

Epcot will be open from 10 a.m. until 10 pm. Last year, the park was open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. around the same time. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Last year, the park was only open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. around the same time.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be operating from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. during this week and Blizzard Beach Water Park will be open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Do you have plans to visit the Walt Disney World parks this year during the holidays? Let us know in the comments!
