As we once again look forward to Halloween fun at the Disneyland Resort, it’s time to make your plans to attend Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. This separate ticket, limited-capacity, after-park hours event is packed with tricks, treats and frightful fun for guests of all ages to enjoy for 25 select nights from Sept. 9 through Oct. 31.
As you will see as you approach the gates of Disney California Adventure park, Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” has cast his spell, looming over guests to bid them welcome. With such a spook-tacular host, you know this “bash” is going to be rockin’. Let’s take a look at the amazing experiences and unforgettable Halloween fun that will be offered for party guests this year:
Immersive Treat Trails – Trick-or-treating is not just for kids! Get dressed up in your Halloween best and explore the wonderfully wicked treat trails – with an assortment of candy provided by Mars Wrigley confectionery products – under the watchful eyes of favorite characters and villains, some familiar – some new!
“Frightfully Fun Parade” – The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow kicks things off, arriving on his ghostly black horse as the spooky leader of this showcase of cheery chills and thrills. Get excited – the cavalcade of Disney characters and mischievous villains that follow – is really something to scream about!
Villains Grove – Here’s your opportunity to step inside the minds of favorite villains and walk through worlds inspired by their deeds, and misdeeds. Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is completely transformed into Villains Grove with lighting, projections, sounds and special effects, creating a dreamlike environment ideal for all ages. This experience unfolds in a series of scenes, each creating a hauntingly ethereal space for you to explore!
“Mickey’s Trick & Treat” – This interactive stage production invites you to join Mickey Mouse and his pals as they throw a one-of-a-kind Halloween party! Perfect for little ghouls and goblins to enjoy with dancing and not-so-frightening scary tales.
In addition, party guests will enjoy character sightings featuring beloved characters Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck – plus villains, too. You may be surprised at who you discover at this Halloween party, ready for photos and waves.
And… with your ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash, you will also be able to explore Disney California Adventure park, including the all-new Avengers Campus! Another bonus: while the party begins at 6 p.m., you will have the opportunity to play in the park three hours before the party starts.
