Avengers Campus is officially open at Disney California Adventure and the new themed land is a hit! In fact, the land is so popular, on its opening day it spawned an over half-mile long line outside of the resort!
The themed land officially opened Friday, June 4. As we all know, Disneyland is operating at a limited capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, only a limited number of guests could be in the themed land at a time. Due to these restrictions, some guests reported waiting over three-hours in line before even setting foot in the land, as shared by @teft on Twitter.

In fact, the line was so long to get into the land, it stretched all the way to Golden Zephr, starting outside the new land. Outside of the theme park, it was reported by the Orange County Register, at 7:15 a.m. on the day of opening, the line to get into Disneyland switched back 17-times and filled a service road and the bus depot area on the Harbour Boulevard side of the parks.
It’s worth noting that the land currently has only two attractions open. This includes Guardians of the Galaxy: MISSION BREAKOUT and the all-new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.
The guardians of the galaxy attraction has its typical line, which was a bit extended due to the excessive crowds in the theme park. However, the new Spider-Man attraction is only available to guests who wait to ride via a virtual queue.
The virtual queue can only be accessed via the Disneyland mobile app. Distribution times for virtual queue enrollment are at 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM each day, subject to availability. In order to give as many Guests as possible the opportunity to sling webs alongside Spider-Man, each Guest can enter the virtual queue no more than once per day.
Wow! Lines to get into Avengers Land and also to ride Guardians of the Galaxy as of 1:30pm. Stretches all the way to Golden Zephyr. #AvengersCampus pic.twitter.com/2VCc11veCl
