DISNEY AND PIXAR TO CELEBRATE “SOUL” HOME ENTERTAINMENT RELEASE WITH VIRTUAL JAZZ CONCERT FEATURING JON BATISTE AND HBCU BANDS

WHO: Disney and Pixar’s Soul

WHAT: Soul Virtual Jazz Concert – A virtual musical experience hosted by Soul’s jazz composer and Academy Award nominee, Jon Batiste, featuring performances by some of the most renowned HBCU bands in the nation.

WHEN: Thursday, March 25 at 5:00PM PDT / 8:00 PM EDT

WHERE: Virtual Event – Premiering on Pixar YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/pixar/

WHY: To celebrate Disney and Pixar’s Soul’s release on 4K Ultra HD, Digital, DVD and Blu-ray. The Virtual Jazz Concert, hosted by Jon Batiste, will spotlight HBCU band performances and allow fans to experience the music and essence of the film.

ABOUT Soul- 

Jamie Foxx leads an all-star cast in this hilarious, heart-filled adventure. Disney and Pixar’s Soul introduces Joe, who lands the gig of his life at the best jazz club in town. But one misstep lands Joe in a fantastical place: The Great Before. There, he teams up with soul 22 (Tina Fey), and together they find the answers to some of life’s biggest questions.
