TMSM’s Adventures in Florida Living- Back to Disney Springs

May 20, 2020

Happy Wednesday Everyone! We can actually do an Adventures in Florida Living blog this week, as I actually went out! Disney Springs opened today and I have the scoop! Let’s talk about it!

We knew going in that Disney Springs would be open but with some definitive changes. That was ok with me! We parked in the Orange garage, where they had temperature checks before you could even go to the escalator. No contact of course! It was fast and easy! Take a look!

Inside the Springs, they had signs posted everywhere with the new safety guidelines. All guests had to wear a face mask, ages 3 and up. They also had markers on the cement to help with social distancing plus plenty of hand sanitizer stations. Most third party restaurants and stores were open, and it was truthfully not that crowded!

All in all, it felt great to be back at Disney Springs. Some were concerned that it wouldn’t feel like Disney because of the changes, but that wasn’t the case. Cast Members did a wonderful job and I felt safe the entire time. We even had lunch at Earl of Sandwich. Just like old times… but with even more hand sanitizer than I usually use!

I got so many questions today from readers asking about how things went at the Springs. Honestly I have no complaints. Yes, it was hot outside today and with face masks it was a little bit uncomfortable. However, it’s Disney and I’ve missed it. If I have to follow new rules for now in exchange for getting back to the magic, I’ll take it. The Disney run stores and such will be open on the 27th, I’ll be there for that too. Can’t wait! These extra safety precautions are for the greater good for everyone and if all goes well, hopefully we will get news on park openings too. Fingers crossed! That’s it for this week. I posted a video below of the summary of our day, I hope you enjoy it. Until next time, sending you love, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon! -M
