One of our staff members has Disney reservations to stay on property in July. This afternoon, she received a survey asking some interesting questions about her upcoming trip. It seems that Disney wants feedback on specifics regarding how guests feel about their vacations in the current climate of uncertainty. As we said yesterday, Disney Springs is going to start opening up minimally in phases on May 20th. As for the parks and resorts however, no time frame or dates have been given. This survey seems to coincide with that. Take a look at two parts in particular that we found interesting.
One of the biggest questions that we have been getting from readers is if we know how much advance notice we think Disney will give before either announcing an opening date, or when they may cancel their reservations. It seems by what Disney is sending today, that they’re trying to figure all of that out. We already know that specific safety instructions will be implemented once the parks and resorts open, it won’t be business as usual, not at first. Distancing and face masks have already been talked about when it comes to reopening, as was mentioned in yesterdays announcement about Disney Springs.
