Cinderella Castle is about to get a magical transformation!

With the iconic movie Cinderella turning 70 this year and the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World coming up, the castle will see some changes. Magical enhancements if you will. The announcement came in about an hour ago. Here’s what people were told.

Cinderella Castle is about to get even more magical – just as Cinderella herself transformed into a princess when the animated classic was released to 70 years ago, her namesake castle at the heart of Walt Disney World Resort will be made over with bold, shimmering and regal enhancements befitting Magic Kingdom Park.

The stunning royal makeover of our iconic Cinderella Castle continues the overall transformation of Walt Disney World Resort. The most magical place on earth.
