We have had so much going on, a lot of things we are getting ready for as well for this year. The year is kicking off with something magical… our monthly show, The Main Street Mouse Live on Location is moving to Disney Springs. Yes, Disney Springs! Last Friday we went over to Maria and Enzo’s at the Springs because that’s where the show is taking place on January 26th. Maria and Enzo’s is beautiful and we are broadcasting from their main dining room. If you have not heard yet, TMSM LOL is a collaboration between myself, Cindy Simmons and John “Panda” Saccheri, with Scott running the production and tech. When we got word that Disney Springs was wanting to host our show, I believe I cried. Then immediately told Cindy and John the amazing news. We all work really hard and this opportunity is one we are so thankful for. The folks at the Springs would like us to do the show in a new location each month, so we aren’t sure where the February show will be yet. As soon as we find out which location at Disney Springs is next we will be sure to let everyone know. On Monday I had the media preview of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. The events for the festivals are always fun. This year we also got to see the new film attractions coming to Epcot as well. This is the fourth year for the Festival of the Arts and Epcot keeps adding more and more for guests to enjoy. Food, fun, entertainment, merchandise… yay! The festivities start on Friday and run through February 24th!
Monday evening we had our live show and this morning it was radio day at 96.5 WDBO. This coming weekend we have friends coming to town and dinner plans at Disney of course! This year is already off to a busy start but I’m so thankful for the opportunities that have started coming our way. Sure, it’s a lot of work, but I truly enjoy what I do. TMSM has amazing supporters and mods too, another thing to be thankful for. It truly takes a village as they say, I’m very blessed and lucky.
