Disney’s Candlelight Processional #epcotholidays

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is attending Disney’s Candlelight Processional in Epcot. If you are not familiar with this show it is the telling of the Christmas Story by a celebrity narrator while accompanied by an orchestra and a choir. The musicians are top-notch. The choir is made up of local school choruses and cast members. Being part of this show is not just something you sign up for but are auditioned and well-rehearsed.

This year the Processional kicks off on Friday, November 29th as part of Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays. Showtimes each day are 5 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8:15 pm. The show runs until December 30th. Some of the celebrity narrators this year are all-time favorite Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Gary Sinise, and Pat Sajak. As you can see, there is quite a variety of entertainers represented. We decided to hear Warwick Davis when we attend this year.

Seats are first come-first serve and guests do begin lining up early in the afternoon. One popular way to guaranteed seating is to purchase a Candlelight Dining Package. The package offers either lunch or dinner at 16 different restaurants in or around Epcot. Pricing runs from $52 to $85 per person depending on the time (Lunch or Dinner) and the restaurant. If you check out Disney’s website: (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/candlelight-dinner-packages/  )
for details, there are also a few breakfast options. This is a great way to get a good meal and a guaranteed seat.

Here is hoping that you get a chance to see this amazing show and have a special holiday season.
