From the Disney Parks Blog and written by: Jessica Quinn

On his extended tours of Europe, Walt fell in love with European art, architecture, food and, of course, stories. And now we’re so excited to share that the art in Disney’s Riviera Resort will reflect a European theme with a Disney twist!

We’ve been talking about these awesome unique, Disney touches for the past few months and today we get to share with you a sneak peek of some of the European-themed art and décor that will be throughout the proposed Disney’s Riviera Resort when it opens in Fall 2019! Part of our sneak peek today is to show you some of the pieces as they will be displayed in some of the villas at the upcoming 15th Disney Vacation Club Resort.

And the names of the paintings are so fun! I love “Interior with Cats,” which highlights “The Aristocats” with Marie, Berlioz and Toulouse. And it is so fun to see Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Chip and Cogsworth in “Still Life with Teapot.”

So excited to see this amazing art created especially for Disney’s Riviera Resort guests to enjoy! Which pieces are you most excited to see?
