One of the most fun things about Halloween time is the fact that we get to enjoy extra treats. Especially where Disney is concerned. One new treat for this years Halloween Party is the not so poison apple cupcake! So, what exactly IS in this adorable looking snack? Let’s talk about it….
It starts with a spiced apple cupcake on the bottom. The cake itself is SO good, not dry at all. Then comes a heaping spoonful of pecan praline filling on top of the cake. A layer of buttercream holds all of it in before the “apple” goes on top.
The apple dome on top of the cupcake is made out of a giant scoop of buttercream that’s topped with cinnamon roll icing and a black licorice stem. And if you’re looking for a little extra crunch, Disney thought of that too! Red candy apple topping pieces are tucked in all around the sides of the cupcake. It is so good, but sweet! This over sized cupcake is plenty big enough to share as well.
You can only find the Not So Poison Apple cupcake at the Main Street Bakery during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which runs now through October 31.
