Try a Welsh Dragon from the Rose and Crown Pub, Epcot (recipe included)

Re-post in case you missed it!

Even though we frequent the parks at Walt Disney World on a regular basis, we sometimes don’t always catch everything that they have to offer.  Take World Showcase at Epcot for example.  World Showcase boasts a large amount of food and drink offerings, so many that it’s hard to keep up with it all.  Lets talk about drinks!  Normally I drink water or Diet Coke, but sometimes a cocktail is a must, and trying something “new” is fun. This drink isn’t new, but it’s new to me, so I thought we’d discuss the “Welsh Dragon” at Epcot!

Inside the Rose and Crown Pub at the UK Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase, you can walk up to the bar and order a Welsh Dragon. Keep in mind, the pub is crowded, but the drink prices are reasonable for how much you get. The Welsh Dragon is a fruity concoction that tastes as good as it looks! Yes, it’s a pretty drink!

Sometimes drinks at the Parks are a bit small for the price, but not the Welsh Dragon. For only $8.95, you really do get your monies worth. Plus you get a fruit garnishment on top! The drink itself tastes like melon and is really refreshing on a hot Disney day! I’m glad my friend Janel told me about it, I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of the Welsh Dragon before!

If you’re not at Epcot, you can make you’re own Welsh Dragon at home! Below is the recipe for your convenience. Thanks and enjoy!

3/4 ounce peach schnapps
3/4 ounce melon liqueur
1/2 ounce green crème de menthe

Mix all ingredients together, blending well.

Pour over ice. Easy peasy!
