Happy Wednesday Main Streeters! It’s time for our weekly check in! Let’s get right to it!
Wow, the past week has been a bit of a blur. Something new has been going on every day. In addition to getting settled in at our new house, my younger son has been in a play at school, and we’ve been doing that in the evenings. The practice schedule has been rough, but he wanted to see it through. We went to the show both Thursday and Friday evening, and I was so proud of him. When the show was over, he ran out to us, so happy he had tears in his eyes. This was a big accomplishment for him, he stepped out of his comfort zone and he was thrilled that he did. Sound familiar…? That’s my boy! He did a great job. We go again for the final night this Friday. It’s so important to support kids in whatever activities they want to do, it makes a huge difference in their lives. Awesome job Aidan, well done!
Between house unpacking and organizing, and the school play, there hasn’t been a lot of time for anything else. Meaning, I really need a Disney fix. On Monday, we finally took a break and went over to Animal Kingdom for about two hours. It was not a long trip, but it was something, I’ll take it. I was looking to score a pair of the new Millennial Pink mouse ears for a prize in our Disney Lularoe group, and thankfully was able to. While we were there, we did a live feed (with technical difficulties) to talk about something new we’re going to be doing. On Monday evenings, we’re going to be doing live feeds with updates on park news and happenings, plus answer reader questions! It will be called TMSM Weekly Live, and it’s a long time coming. We have been talking about doing this for about two years, and now we are finally making time for it! I’m praying it goes well and people enjoy the show. We still have a lot of work to do, but I’m going to TRY to get out to Disney this coming weekend, even for a little while. People have asked me, since moving to Florida, if I ever get tired of the parks. Well, that is a definite no. I haven’t been to Disney much in the past month and I MISS it. I think that’s when you know that you really DO have Disney in your soul, when you can keep going over and over and never tire of it. I’m sure a lot of you can relate. It’s my happy place! Moving to the Disney area, I knew that we would be able to do more for our readers, and that’s what I’m trying to do.
