Take a Look at the Amazing Star Wars Day at Sea, Disney Cruise Line! #disneycruise

Yesterday, we were invited to go aboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy cruise ship in Port Canaveral, to attend a media preview for their Star Wars Day at Sea. Last week Disney announced more Star Wars themed cruises, and we were excited to learn more about them. Star Wars Day at Sea offers an immersive experience that’s perfect for Star Wars fans of all ages. From a welcome greeting with Darth Vader and crew, to Jedi training where the kids can battle Vader and Kylo Ren…. you’re right in the magic of the franchise the entire time.

While on board, we were able to see some of the fantastic character meets and photo opportunities that guests will be able to take advantage of. Also, the Disney Fantasy offers a Star Wars themed version of the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique as well as special Star Wars Day at Sea merchandise!

In addition to the shows and photos, we were also treated to some Star Wars themed food at Animators Palate. I had some delicious chicken with a sampler of desserts, it was wonderful. If you’re familiar with how Disney Cruise Line does their popular Pirate Night, then you know about the fireworks at sea and dance party. Well, for Star Wars Day at Sea, they do a similar event on deck, but with a Star Wars theme of course and fireworks set to the classic music from the films.

Two weeks ago, my family and I went on our very first Disney Cruise aboard the Disney Dream. We absolutely loved it. The Disney Fantasy is a sister ship and is just as beautiful and welcoming as the Dream is. For us, we can’t wait to go on another cruise again…. the only question is will it be for Star Wars or Marvel, as Marvel is an option as well. No one does cruising like Disney, and if you haven’t done a Disney Cruise yet, you simply must check into it! You won’t be disappointed!
