Earlier this week, we announced that the creator of the popular perfume “Laila” had made a new fragrance based off the film “Frozen.” Geir Ness debuted his new perfume, “Frozen in a Bottle” yesterday at the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, and he was on hand to greet guests and talk about the scent. We were lucky enough to get to chat with him, he was great!
Geir had told me that it took him two years to create the new Frozen perfume, as he wanted to make sure it was perfect. Here’s his description of Frozen in a Bottle~
“Inspired by the films spectacular scenery, I crafted a fragrance that captured the natural magic of my native Norway, not only its sparkling fjords and dazzling glaciers, but the elemental power of the mountains and the pristine invigorating air. I’ve created “Frozen” in a bottle. ~ Geir Ness
Geir Ness is an absolute gem. He told us that Frozen in a Bottle will be sold exclusively at the Norwary pavilion at Epcot for the first month. After that, the perfume will be sold on Disney Cruise Line and eventually online. We’ve had readers ask if the new scent smells anything like “Laila” since it’s so beloved. Truthfully, it’s got a similar qualities, a bit lighter, but equally lovely. If you like Laila, you’ll love Frozen in a Bottle too! This fabulous new perfume sells for $70 for a 3.4-ounce bottle and $50 for a 1.7-ounce bottle.
