When Toy Story Pizza Planet closed several months ago at Hollywood Studios, rumors started swirling around that it wouldn’t come back, or that if it did it would have a new theme. Today is has been confirmed that while the location will reopen this fall, it will have a new theme and name.
PizzeRizzo, the new Muppets themed pizzera, will offer guests pizza and other casual Italian-American dining options. The location will be owned by Rizzo the Rat from the Muppets. Per the Disney Parks Blog “in addition to the expansive indoor and outdoor seating area, guests will be able to dine in a “cheesy” banquet room, or take five in a special booth designated just for Rizzo’s celebrity friends.”
An exact opening date of this counter location was not announced.
