wdw2014259120794113_7052191342 In Adventureland, past the Pirates of the Caribbean, is a little hidden alcove which houses The Pirate’s League. The Pirate’s League is a place where children of all ages, pirates and mermaids alike, get their pirate name and take their place in the Pirate Parade around 3:30 pm.

The pirates get to choose their look before heading to the back to be given their crew look complete with bandana, doubloon necklace, earring, patch, sash, and pouch. They are then taken to the special treasure room where magical things happen. I can’t reveal all the surprises so you will have to find out for yourself.

wdw2014259120791035_7057577360The mermaids and empresses can also choose their looks and they can also release the pirate within and choose a pirate look. The mermaids get a hair pin and necklace that changes color, make-up, and sash. Empresses get the same as pirates but more pink in nature. Then it is off to the treasure room.

I highly recommend The Pirate’s League. We all did it for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party and we all loved it. There is no real age limit* so parents get to experience the fun as well. Pirates can also choose to purchase costumes if mom and dad say yes, along with props that can be purchased also.

wdw2014259120790926_7052186500The Pirate’s League usually closes around 4 but during MNSSHP it has later hours but they do not release them till around August. The cost is around $30 to $40 a person but well worth it in my opinion. Please call 407-939-2739 or 407-WDW-CREW for reservations.

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!
