The Finale of Lights, Motors, Action at Hollywood Studios

On Saturday afternoon at 4:00, the Lights, Motors, Action extreme stunt show began it’s final performance after an 11 year run. We wanted to make sure we headed over to see the final show, as it closes a chapter at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This closure is part of the major overhaul that the Studios is going through. Saturday was also the final day for the Streets of America, Monsters Inc meet and greet, Honey I shrunk the kids play area, etc. Basically that entire back side of the park is closing and being redone. So many changes.

The stunt show on Saturday was packed. So many fans came out to see the show for the last time. The stands were filled with energy, and the drivers and performers were very emotional. They closed out the show with all the drivers coming on to the set as a final goodbye. It’s nice to see progress at the Studios, but also sad for the talented performers who helped make Lights, Motors, Action a success for so many years. We thank them for the amazing entertainment, and can’t wait to see what’s to come at Hollywood Studios!
