Experience Holidays Around the World at Epcot Starting November 27

Returning to Epcot next month is perennial favorite Holidays Around the World, where time-honored traditions come alive through the sights and sounds of the countries of World Showcase. Whether it’s learning about the customs of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa or listening to the tales of characters like Père Noël in France and the kind-hearted witch La Befana in Italy, this event is a must-do every year.

For the 2015 holiday season, new live musical performances by American Music Machine are being added to the mix. Introduced to rave reviews last summer, this five-member a cappella group brings to Holidays Around the World a contemporary take on the classic Christmas TV special. With unique vocal arrangements by Tim Davis (“Glee”), American Music Machine will be rocking around the Fountain Stage, performing both modern and nostalgic holiday hits, including “White Christmas,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “All I Want for Christmas is You.”

Holidays Around the World has something for everyone! “Joyful! A Gospel Celebration of the Season” enlivens the Fountain Stage throughout the day, while the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs take us on a musical exploration of holiday traditions from across the Great White North in the Canada Pavilion. In Mexico, “Feliz Navidad” features colorful dancers and mariachis, who celebrate the holiday customs of Mexico in an interactive, musical performance, and the China Pavilion bursts to life with the vibrant Chinese Lion Dance, bringing good fortune and happiness to all in honor of major holidays such as the Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival.

Of course, a day at Epcot during Holidays Around the World would not be complete without taking in a performance of the gorgeous and moving Candlelight Processional or catching the stunning, holiday fireworks finale to “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.”

Holidays Around the World begins Friday, November 27, at Epcot and continues through December 30, 2015. You won’t want to miss it!
