Happy Wednesday Main Streeters! Oh yes, it’s that time again already! It’s time for our weekly chat, and for me to update you on what’s been going on here in our world in Central Florida! Things have been BUSY here to say the least, and it doesn’t look like that’s slowing down any time soon! Let’s catch up!

As you know, Epcot’s 20th International Food and Wine Festival kicked off last week. Food, wine, souvenirs…… it’s all good. We headed over early on opening day, to get coverage of all that the festival has to offer this year. I have to say, the merchandise for the festival was my favorite part. The 20th Anniversary swag is really cute, it has Chef Mickey on it with food and such. I got myself a Mickey pot holder, and we got an anniversary pin. When it was time to walk around to look at the food booths, I was a little less enthused. As I mentioned before, I’m on a somewhat strict diet, in preparation for my brother’s upcoming wedding, so I couldn’t indulge. The desserts looked amazing, I can’t lie! I really want to try the chocolate waffle in Belgium… sigh. Maybe after the wedding! There’s only a few items on the actual food choices that I’d try, since I’m a picky eater. The ravioli in Italy is one of them, and the chicken gyro in Greece. Lots of fun drinks though! Hard to resist it all! I walked away having only an iced tea from Starbucks. Now that’s willpower!

After hitting the Food and Wine Fest, we really haven’t done much. It’s the end of the month, so that means it’s crunch time for the magazine. I was kind of excited about this months issue, because I suggested we do a Halloween theme, and our staff followed suit. I really enjoy it having a theme, and the next few months will be easy for that. So, we stayed home and worked. I never realized how much work would go into TMSMonthly when we started it in July. Since then, the end of the month each month is filled with work, in addition to our daily blogs and such. I’m really pleased though with how it looks, our staff does a fabulous job, and to me, the work is worth it. If you love what you do, the work isn’t so bad.

So, the magazine comes out tomorrow, that means we’ll have a little less to do, and I’m hoping we can enjoy a little time out of the house with the kids. My friend Holly is coming to town, so she always forces me to take a much needed break, that’s a good thing. The next couple of weeks are going to be crazy busy. Our big TMSM Meet Up is in 2 1/2 weeks, and I have so much to do. My friends from Michigan are coming to town that week and staying with us, plus we’re having a staff party here at the house the night before, so I have a lot to do. I pray I find the time to get everything done! We shall see! Well, that’s it for this weeks update. Thank you for keeping up with us the way you do, I love our talks! Till next week… sending you all lots of love, hugs, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon! ~M
