We want to share with you several Tinkerbell Marathon Exclusive items that have recently been revealed. These items will only be available at the runDisney Expo during the Tinkerbell Marathon Weekend in Disneyland.You do not need to be a runner to attend the Expo, but some items may require you to have a a bib number to purchase them.
In January before the Walt Disney World Marathon the 2015 New Balance runDisney Sneaker line-up honoring Steamboat Willie were revealed along with information that other unannounced shoes would be appearing throughout the year. It didn’t take long for the newBalance to keep their word, and in February additional shoes were unveiled. The 2015 Steamboat Willie line is made up of two models the 990v3 and 860v5 and come in grey, black and white. After two years of bright and fun colored sneakers, we here at TMSM saw a lot of head scratching and disappointment when it was revealed that this year’s shoes were very monotone.
Today runDisney New Balance fans can breath a sign of relief thanks to the newly announced “Fresh Foam Tinker Bell Boracay” sneakers. The new Tink sneakers are green and yellow with the runDisney logo on them. New Balance launched the Fresh Foam Boracay model in 2014, this model comes with a one piece blown rubber outsole, 4 mm drop, Neoprene stretch tongue and No-sew material application. The new Tinker Bell Fresh Foam Boracay will be available starting Thursday, May 7th, through NBvirtualqueue.com. Runners will be able to use their bib number on the virtual queue starting at 6am ET on the 7th. All other guests can sign up starting on 5/9. The rest of the 2015 runDisney New Balance line should be available for purchase as well. If this changes we will let you know!
