Hakuna Matata! In Honor of Animal Kingdom’s Birthday today, I thought we’d talk about one of my favorite shows on Disney Property, the Festival of the Lion King! Whenever people ask me what is on my Disney “Must Do” list, the Festival of the Lion King is always included. Why? Well, because it offers something for everyone!
I do believe that no matter who is in your group, regardless who you travel to Disney with, the Lion King show is sure to appeal to them at one point or another. There is singing, just like a Broadway Show for music lovers. For adventure and action seekers, the Tumble Monkey’s or the fire baton twirler are both must sees. For the romantics in the house, the dancing and flying birds are on top of the list. Characters, stilt walkers, dancers….. What about a sing along? Yes, they have that too.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a beautiful park for sure. But on today, AK’s birthday/anniversary, I’d like to give special props to Festival of the Lion King. It truly is Disney magic and one of the best Disney shows that I’ve seen!
