Disney from a Teen’s Perspective: Splash Mountain, My Little Brothers First Time

Splash

One ride that hasn’t been a must-do for my family is Splash Mountain. Don’t shoot me for saying that, but we are just not big fans of getting wet. Recently, my little brother reached the 40” height requirement which opened up a bunch of new ride opportunities for him, one of them being Splash Mountain. He has been asking for a long time to go on Splash Mountain so this past weekend we finally gave in.

I can tell you that he loved it! It was nice to actually be able to go on it as a family. We couldn’t go on it before because of him being too short and we preferred to ride Thunder Mountain instead. He had so much fun! He had his hands up and everything! I really forgot how fun this ride is and all the neat stuff to look at inside.

His favorite part was all the hills. Every time he went down them, he would throw up his hands! It was so cute! He really loved everything about the ride! I loved looking at his giant smile every time I turned around. You could tell that this is a new favorite of his and I have a feeling we will be going on it a lot more in the near future.

I definitely suggest that you go on Splash Mountain at least once! It’s super fun for everyone! Is Splash Mountain one of your family must do’s?

”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 14 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”

  1. Splash Mountain is a great ride! I’m like you though, I don’t like getting wet. Most of the time we don’t end up going on this ride for that reason. However, you convinced me that when I go in May, I will go on it at least one time! I might even try Grizzly River Run at California Adventure, that is one ride I have NEVER gone on, Might make that a night time ride!
