Okay, so this isn’t really breaking news. But, for those of us who just watched The Little Mermaid I: Ariel’s Beginning for the first time, this is awesome. Young King Triton looked a lot like older King Triton, but with a glorious, impressive auburn beard. If you make it to the end of the gallery, you can also see what Ariel’s mom, Queen Athena, looked like. (Hint: she looks a lot like her youngest, most determined daughter.)
