Members attending “Welcome Home Wednesday” at Atlantic Dance Hall in Disney’s BoardWalk Entertainment District at Walt Disney World Resort on Nov. 12 are in for a nostalgic treat, as the event will be transformed into a special presentation of Disney Vacation Club’s popular “Great Moments with Walt Disney” touring show.
Created for Members and their Guests as part of Membership Magic, the lighthearted show features an entertaining array of Walt’s rarely seen—or heard—appearances. Disney historian and author Tim O’Day hosts the show live on stage with Disney Files Magazine Editor Ryan March, presenting archival treasures that range from famous clips to more spontaneous moments that intimately capture the colorful character of the man behind the legend.
The Nov. 12 show will take place from 2-3:30 p.m. Advance reservations are not required. Simply arrive with your Member ID and photo ID, and feel free to bring as many as three additional Guests per Member ID. Be sure to arrive early as seating may become limited.
“Great Moments with Walt Disney” entertained Members and their Guests this spring at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, as well as in Chicago, Newark and suburban Boston. The Nov. 12 presentation is part of a reprisal tour taking the show to Members in Miami, Houston, New Orleans, Seattle, San Francisco, Indianapolis and New York’s Long Island.
