More details on the recently announced Frozen Attractions and Experiences

We just released the very exciting news that Frozen has a new ride, extended attractions and fun coming to the Walt Disney World resort. We’ve had a lot of questions about dates etc. and we now have details to answer them!! Over at Epcot construction is starting on the “Frozen” attraction which will replace Maelstom.  The last day Maelstrom will be open is 10/5/14 and the Norway Pavilion will stay open during construction.The new pavilion will have a royal greeting location so guests can visit with Arendelle royalty.

Fcs796642The Magic Kingdom will have the Frozen gang of Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf in the “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade”. This parade is offered during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, select nights 11/7-12/19/14. The parade will also be presented daily during regular park hours 12/20-12/31/14.
The new Castle Stage show will being on 11/5/14 and will have Anna and Elsa in a new show where Elsa transforms Cinderella Castle into a winter palace.

Ane7966464 613x408The super popular “For the First Time in Forever: A ‘Frozen’ Sing-Along Celebration,” will be extended at Hollywood Studios. The show will continue to be presented 10 times a day in the Premiere Theater (not the AI theater as some were rumor mongering) and will continue to have FastPass+ option. On 9/28/14 Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Frozen Funland will move from Soundstage One to a new location near the exit of the Studio Backlot Tour. Oaken’s will be open through the holiday season and will have a new larger real snow play area, lots of “Frozen” items to buy, and of course those AMAZING cupcakes!
