Cinderella Inspired Glitter Pumpkin Craft by Janel Adani

I seem to be having a glitter theme lately between the Frozen Blizzard in the Jar and the Pixie Dust craft. Well, who doesn’t like glitter? Glitter makes me happy! Anything that sparkles just makes me smile.

This craft is very simple and will get you in the Fall mood. I know, I know, it’s not Fall yet, but with being at the Magic Kingdom this weekend and seeing all the Fall decorations, it kind of got me in the mood. I always like to buy a bag of the small pumpkins when they start showing up in the stores. My kids love to paint them and glue stuff on them. I’m sure as the season gets started you will see a lot more of our pumpkin creations, but for now we will get started with these Cinderella Inspired Glitter Pumpkins.

Supplies

Small Pumpkins
Small Paint Brush
Elmer’s Glue
Glitter
Paper Plate or Bowl

Take a small pumpkin and place it on a paper plate or a bowl. Paint the glue onto your pumpkin in small sections. Once glue is applied to a section, shake the glitter onto the glued section. Continue doing this all around the pumpkin. You can spoon up the excess glitter that fell on the paper plate or bowl and put back onto the pumpkin to get a good coating on it. Once you are satisfied with the amount of glitter that’s coating your pumpkin, let it dry for at least an hour. Once dry, shake off the excess glitter and that’s it. You are done.

For this craft you can use Fall colors for the glitter like in the picture or you can use any colors you want. How about some Halloween colors like purple and black or Cinderella colors like blue and white? The possibilities are endless. Have fun with it!
