Can you believe that is just a few short weeks, Disney and the fans we will be celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion attraction, one of the crown jewels of Disneyland park. There are so many stories, so much history about the attraction.  People talk about the different ghosts, scenes and how the ride came to life.

From Michelle’s article.  Over the years, I was fortunate enough to meet some of the Disney Legends and artists behind this attraction and the inception of Disneyland, and it’s something that will live in my heart forever. I know many of you feel the same way. Senior Merchandiser, David Whitaker was no different. “The Haunted Mansion attraction has served as a source of inspiration to many of our artists over the years,” said David. “For the anniversary, I wanted to really focus on the “Art of the Haunted Mansion” therefore allowing each artist to interpret what the attraction means to them, and allowing them to create that in their own signature medium, style and technique. The result is a unique and eclectic collection of characters and artists.”

Here’s your first look at some of the original and limited edition pieces of art, sculptures, figurines and more that will materialize August 16 at Disneyana on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland park.
