Walt Disney World has announced that more testing will be conducted later this month for the new MyMagic+ system that’s coming out. Testing will be done throughout all four of WDW’s theme parks.
Guests staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Contemporary Resort are being asked to take part in the test, which will take place in the last week of June. During the test, guests will be using FASTPASS+ at all four parks, ‘Touch to Enter,’ and ‘Touch to Pay.’ The test is by invite only, so it’s not open for the general public to try. I’m sure in the upcoming months, more people will have the option to try out the new Magic Bands and use the whole MyMagic+ system. Disney vacationers are torn on this issue still, as to whether they will enjoy the new system, or if they’d prefer to keep the card keys instead. More to follow!
