Merida to become an “official” Disney Princess

Most of you are in the know regarding how much the Princess thing is pushed these days when it comes to Disney, especially with the New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. So, why not add one more, right?

On May 11th, Merida, from the movie Brave, will have her coronation as a Disney Princess at Cinderella Castle in the MK. Merida will become the 11th princess to receive the official Disney Princess title. The event will start at 9:30 in the morning, and I’m sure there will be extras around the park during the day. I’ll report more as I hear it!

p.s. I really wish they would do more special things for boys at the MK. I know they are doing the extras near Pirates, but something else is needed. Superhero’s maybe? We sort of didn’t need another princess, 10 was enough! Just my opinion!
