December 15, 2017 is the official release date of Star Wars Episode VIII The Last Jedi. On the night of December 16, Star Wars fans can celebrate Star Wars at an epic, Hollywood-Inspired special ticket event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the special ticket Star Wars: Galactic Nights event.
Galactic Nights guests will have the opportunity to meet Storm Troopers as they board your shuttle at Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, meet Ewoks, see the Imperial March, spot AWR Troopers, and of course visit the characters at the Launch Bay.
During Galactic Nights there will be a sneak peek of the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with a special panel discussion about the new 14-acre Star Wars expansion that will open at Hollywood Studios in 2019. Guests will also be able to see the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular and ride Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania!, and Muppet*Vision 3D as well as visit the Star Wars Launch Bay. Children will also be able to take part in the Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple show.
Throughout the night guests using Disney’s PhotoPass Service can have their photo taken at one of the Seize the Saga! photo backdrops. There will also be a Star Wars: Galactic Nights dance party at the main stage and other event activities. And of course there will be Star Wars-themed food and drinks and special event merchandise throughout the event. Star Wars: Galactic Nights will take place on December 16, 2017, from 7:00 PM to midnight. Tickets are available online and by calling Disney and are $124 per child and $129 per adult (plus tax).
