Last night our racing Disney writer Addie shared more information on this year’s runDisney Virtual 5k series with you. This morning we have learned that this year’s series will have optional commemorative swag!
As of this morning the runDisney website has listed several 2017 Virtual Running Shorts series commemorative items that will be available for purchase throughout the summer. The runDisney’s Pluto themed Virtual Shorts logo is adorned on several limited release items. Currently we know that you will be able to purchase series inspired shirts, jackets, hats, pins, magnets and two different merchandise bundles.The Virtual Running Shorts Series Bundle (Two Items) will feature a magnet and pin, and the Virtual Running Shorts Series Bundle (Three Items) will feature a hat, magnet and pin.
Sticking with the virtual concept these runDisney items will only be available on the Disney Store website starting today, and will be available for purchase through August 31, 2017. As of this morning when you visit the Disney Store online the Pluto Virtual Run performance tees and jackets are available for purchase. The Pluto Virtual Run Performance Tees are priced at $36.99 each, and the Pluto Virtual Run Performance Jackets are priced at $89.99. Please make sure you consult runDisney’s Size Chart before ordering. The hat, magnet, pin and bundles were not yet available as of 9:30 am.
