“Dexter (Kurt Russell) has a bold idea for his college chemistry project: creating a formula that will make humans stronger. A lab mishap results in a blend of his solution and a vitamin-rich cereal. Amazingly, when students try the cereal, it briefly provides superhuman strength. The college dean tries to take advantage, pitching a deal to the cereal company, oblivious to the formula’s actual contents. Things turn serious when cereal competitors hire thugs to eliminate the new miracle product.”

The Strongest Man in the World was the third movie in The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes film series. The movie was released on DVD on May 4, 2004. The 92-minute long movie earned $6.6 million. The Strongest Man in the World starred Kurt Russell, Eve Arden, Cesar Romero, Phil Silvers and Joe Flynn. The Strongest Man in the World was released six month’s after Joe Flynn’s death on July 19, 1974. His part as Dean Eugene “Gene” Higgins in The Strongest Man in the World was Joe’s last film appearance as character actor, he also voiced Mr. Snoops in The Rescuers, was an announcer in Son of Flubber, Havershaw in The Love Bug (1968), Finley Hooper in The Million Dollar Duck, Francis X. Wilbanks in The Barefoot Executive and he also appeared as several characters in the Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color television series.
