16 Pieces of Enchanting Concept Art from Beauty and the Beast

April 24, 2015

From the Oh My Disney Blog

Our favorite tale as old as time could have looked very different! Today we get to share some of the little-seen concept art that was created by animators during the development stage of Beauty and the Beast. All of the characters went through some very drastic incarnations (Cogsworth was once a huge grandfather clock, Beast resembled a tall anteater) and we can’t wait to hear what you think. So take a journey with us to a village in France. We give you permission on this occasion to judge this concept art by appearances (though we assure you, it’s inner beauty is on point as well).
