Disney Interactive Proudly Introduces Disney Magical World

Disney Interactive has announced the release of Disney Magical World for the Nintendo 3DS.

After creating a personalized avatar and a customized dream life, players embark on a 3D fantasy adventure featuring more than 60 iconic Disney characters across a main central plaza and its four surrounding worlds inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Aladdin andWinnie the Pooh. It’s all Disney, all the time as players design their own outfits, interact with beloved characters, manage a café to earn in-game coins, set off on ghost-hunting quests and even visit friends’ towns via StreetPass.

The game also leverages unique features of the Nintendo 3DS system. By scanning AR Cards – which will be distributed online, in stores and at special events – using the Nintendo 3DS camera, players can unlock new clothes, accessories and furniture items for a limited time. The game also offers additional paid downloadable content, including one free monthly Disney-themed avatar T-shirt, via Wi-Fi to players using a broadband Internet connection. Players also can opt in to receive free downloadable items like clothing and furniture every season, starting today.

The Disney Magical World game is now available in stores and in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS for $29.99.
