Killer Klowns Invade Halloween Horror Nights 2026 As Universal Reveals Another Scare ZoneThe streets of Universal Studios Florida are about to get even more terrifying. Universal Orlando has officially teased another scare zone coming to Halloween Horror Nights 35, confirming that the fan-favorite Killer Klowns from Outer Space are once again invading the event. The announcement adds another layer of excitement to what is already shaping up to be one of the biggest Halloween Horror Nights celebrations in the event’s history as Universal celebrates its 35th anniversary.

Killer Klowns Invade Halloween Horror Nights 2026 As Universal Reveals Another Scare Zone

With haunted houses, original stories, legendary icons, and now another iconic scare zone revealed, anticipation continues to build for this year’s scream-filled event.

Universal Orlando made the announcement on its official X account with the playful warning:

The Genie Transportation Services

“Klown around and find out 😈
The Killer Klowns from Outer Space are coming to the streets of Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights. More deets coming soon.”

While Universal hasn’t revealed many details about the scare zone itself, the teaser confirms that the murderous extraterrestrial circus clowns will once again stalk guests through the streets of Universal Studios Florida.

The cult-classic 1988 horror film has become a Halloween Horror Nights favorite over the years. After debuting as a scare zone in 2018, the property was so popular that it inspired a full haunted house the following year. Its return as a scare zone is sure to delight longtime HHN fans who have been hoping to see the cotton-candy-wielding Klowns terrorize guests once again.

The Scare Zones Revealed So Far

Although Universal has not yet unveiled every scare zone for Halloween Horror Nights 35, the event’s street experiences are beginning to take shape.

The newly announced Killer Klowns from Outer Space scare zone joins the growing lineup of immersive environments that guests will encounter throughout the park. Earlier this week we also found out that Sideshow of Decay and Infernal Carnival of Nightmares  would be joining the lineup for the scare zones.

Usually there are 5 and with all the announcements being this week, I would guess we will get the 5th scare zone tomorrow.

What Else Has Been Announced?

Universal has steadily unveiled pieces of this year’s lineup, and Halloween Horror Nights 35 is already packed with exciting attractions.

Haunted Houses Announced

Among the haunted houses confirmed so far are:

  • Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control
  • Sinners
  • Stranger Things 5
  • Cybergoria
  • H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular
  • Madlands: Caged Cannibals
  • Hellraiser
  • INVASION: Alien Abduction

More haunted houses are still expected to be announced as the event draws closer.

Yesterday it was announced Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins will have a new show as well.

A Celebration 35 Years in the Making

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 marks the event’s 35th anniversary, and Universal is leaning into its history with the overall theme Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.

This year’s event reunites two legendary Halloween Horror Nights icons—Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow—as they invite guests into a twisted carnival where nightmares come to life. The anniversary celebration promises a blend of nostalgic callbacks alongside brand-new original stories and blockbuster horror franchises.

What to Expect at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando 2026

Running on select nights from August 28 through November 1, Halloween Horror Nights 35 will once again transform Universal Studios Florida into the world’s premier Halloween event.

Guests can expect:

  • 10 terrifying haunted houses
  • Multiple immersive scare zones
  • Live entertainment
  • Exclusive food and beverages
  • Limited-time merchandise
  • Halloween-themed attractions
  • Premium ticket options, including Universal Express Passes and RIP Tours

Whether you’re a longtime HHN veteran or experiencing the event for the very first time, this year’s anniversary celebration looks poised to deliver one of the biggest Halloween Horror Nights events Universal has ever produced.

Every new announcement continues to raise the excitement level for Halloween Horror Nights 35, and the return of Killer Klowns from Outer Space is sure to be a fan favorite. With more scare zones, haunted houses, entertainment, and surprises still waiting to be revealed, this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious in Universal Orlando history. We’ll continue following every announcement as Universal pulls back the curtain on what promises to be another unforgettable Halloween season.
