Party is returning in 2026 with four days of interactive entertainment, beloved characters, dance parties, crafts, and family-friendly fun. Kicking off with a special one-day event at Disney California Adventure Park on August 13, the celebration continues throughout Downtown Disney District from August 14–16, making it the perfect addition to an already magical D23 weekend.

Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party Returns to Disneyland Resort in 2026
Disney Jr. fans are in for an unforgettable celebration as Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party makes its return to Disneyland Resort this August.
The festivities begin on August 13, 2026, at Disney California Adventure Park before expanding into a three-day celebration at Downtown Disney District from August 14–16.
The event also coincides with D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, offering families even more magical experiences before D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event officially begins in Anaheim.
Disney California Adventure Hosts the Kickoff Celebration
The one-day event at Disney California Adventure is designed especially for preschoolers and young families, bringing favorite Disney Jr. stories to life through interactive entertainment, character encounters, and hands-on activities.
Fans of Sofia the First: Royal Magic, SuperKitties, and Spidey and his Amazing Friends will find plenty of opportunities to celebrate their favorite characters throughout Hollywood Land.
Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party
One of the biggest highlights of the day is the energetic Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party!
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., this colorful parade travels through Hollywood Land with stops along Hollywood Boulevard and Carthay Circle. Guests can dance along as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and favorite Disney Jr. characters lead an exciting musical celebration featuring colorful vehicles, lively entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to sing and groove together.

Throughout the day, families can enjoy a variety of live entertainment and character experiences.
At the Hollywood Backlot Stage, Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Live invites kids to dance alongside Mickey Mouse and friends during an interactive stage show.
Guests will also have the chance to meet beloved characters throughout Hollywood Land, including Spidey and Sofia the First, who will debut a brand-new royal outfit during the event.
Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties
Young chefs ages 3–11 can participate in one of the day’s most unique activities during Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties.
Children will decorate cupcakes while learning how teamwork and kindness help save the day alongside the feline superheroes from the hit Disney Jr. series.
Because space is limited, sign-ups begin 45 minutes before each performance.
Crafts, Drawing Classes and Family Fun
Creative families will find plenty to enjoy throughout Hollywood Land.
The Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Craft Zone offers hands-on projects for little artists, while the popular Animation Academygives guests the opportunity to learn how to draw Pepper, Sofia’s adorable puppy-unicorn companion, along with other Disney Jr. favorites.
Families can also stop by themed photo locations or purchase exclusive Disney Jr. photo strips at the Hollywood Land photo booth to remember the special day.

Cool Off with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!
