This summer, Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is inviting guests to experience its Michelin-Recommended cuisine in bold new ways. Throughout late July, Chef Richard Blais will headline a series of immersive events blending hands-on experiences, interactive competition, unforgettable flavors and one-of-a-kind opportunities. From pickleball and mixology to live-fire barbecue and lakeside dining, each event offers a fresh way to celebrate summer while showcasing the creativity and hospitality that have made Four Flamingos one of Orlando’s premier dining destinations.
Guac It Out Challenge & Mixology Class
Guests can shake, stir and compete alongside Chef Richard Blais during this spirited culinary competition. The interactive afternoon begins with a tequila-focused mixology class where attendees learn to craft Four Flamingingos’ signature margarita and enjoy a live liquid nitrogen margarita demonstration presented by Chef Blais.
Teams then face off in the Guac It Out Challenge, using mystery ingredients to create original guacamole recipes paired with handcrafted cocktails to impress the judges – Chef Blais and the Four Flamingos culinary team – in the categories of flavor, presentation and originality.

“Blais of Glory” Pickleball Tournament
Chef Richard Blais trades the kitchen for on of his favorite pasttimes – pickleball – during this first-of-its-kind event! Participants will rotate through 15-minute matches alongside and against Chef Blais before gathering for a post-play reception at Little Flamingos featuring light bites, beverages and a meet-and-greet with the chef. Spectator tickets are also available for those who want to watch the action and enjoy the reception without stepping onto the court. Guests may enhance their experience with an optional $45 beverage package add-on featuring house wine, beer, hard seltzers and house spirits.

The celebration concludes with a classic summer tradition: a barbecue picnic – this time, with Four Flamingos Floribbean flair, elevated to Michelin standards and hosted by Chef Richard Blais. Exclusive Pig’nic menu highlights include:
- Puerto Rican style lechon asado, slow-roasted & seasoned with Four Flamingos signature Key Lime mojo
- House made sauce bar with jerk glaze, smoked avocado & jalapeno chimichurri, pineapple rum glaze, Vega’s hot sauce and more
- Sides including Caribbean snapper ceviche, Papas Pilar maduros, mango kimchi slaw, yucca al ajillo, platanos en escabeche salad, arroz con gandules and passionfruit & lime pepper wings

This one-time-only opportunity will offer a curated menu of Four Flamingos favorites alongside staples from the restaurant’s signature cocktail program – and a couple refreshing new additions.
